A big kid in a grown-ups body, I’m a former pro athlete that’s a nerd at heart. From early days pounding away at a Hewlett Packard Teletype Terminal (that’s right, ticker tape!), and blowing up my first chemistry set, I’ve always loved the sciences; particularly chemicals (!) and computing. Today, I’m the CTO of a telecommunications company managing payphones and other systems for Fortune 1000 companies, as well as a biochemistry and technology consultant and freelance author. “Googling” my name; Oliver Starr, will reveal a wide range of my writings from humorous to frightening. Quantum Convergence is my focused attempt to identify, remark upon, and perhaps discover the most radical innovations in telecommunications, wireless, cellular, gaming, hardware, human-interface, physics, mathematics and socio-techno revolution. In particular, I pay attention to smart phones and other devices where numerous technologies are converging to enable unprecedented access to information and computing power, anytime, any place. I hope you find my ideas interesting.

ahh...highly personal so I won't make it too easy...these are traditional Kanji from the original 2000 character set. You can find them on a few of the better Kani directories online...jdic is one I like.
Here are some clues; most are pictographs, (characters that are also pictures), each line is one word, the first line is at the top and the final character is so serious I had to pay a great deal for a traditional Japanese tatooist to write it (this was originally done bone-tap not modern)...if you're a good net sleuth, you can actually find another of my profiles with poetry based upon the sequence.
